Verity Reynolds is just visiting the small town of Dènaud for the summer.  Trying to put the pieces of her life back together after the loss of her father, she's determined to finally finish her Master's degree and start life after school.  She's focused and driven and keeps telling herself that she'll be ready to return home by summer's end once she's completed her research.  But then, she meets Noah.
